I know at least one of my friends will roll his eyes at this brief post. I just exited a movie and one of the first comments I made concerned how ethically-challenged (yet somehow still sympathetic) the main character was. I’ve never reviewed a movie and this isn’t meant to be my first attempt. However, if you’re interested in sitting through two hours of a smart alien movie and interested in asking all sorts of fascinating questions about the ethically and morally-bereft humans – well, go see District 9. It covers it all; racism, prejudice, selfishness, greed. And of course, aliens with cool weapons.

Movie Mom has a great review of the movie; check it out.

Has anyone else seen it? What did you think?
I kinda loved it myself, unsubtle social messages and all.
