“Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken winged bird that cannot fly.” – Langston Hughes.

Without hope, we would get nothing accomplished. It is the fuel that burns our engines into action.

That feeling of need, or desire, whether it be from pain, suffering, ambition or love of pleasure — causes us to form a dream — a picture of possibilities. From that dream we hope to accomplish, and make dreams real.

Hoping that we will again return to better health. Hoping for the best for our children, family or loved ones. Hoping that someday, somehow, we will not only survive, but that we will thrive. This hope is the beginning.

Then, once hope is kindled and rekindled, we look for the guidance, the will of God to see hope through.

If you are without hope, or hopeless today, put it into the care of God. Ask God to give you the hope to realize what God has in store for you.

Then, once handed to God, do what Winston Churchill said to do…

“Never, never, never give up.”
