I was in New York again over the weekend.  Our son took me to a very hip and cool burger place.  They sell mini burgers.  Here’s one:

It was oh-so-delicious, but only about 4 bites!  They sell two of them for $7.50.  Pretty pricey, I say.  A good idea, though, for those of us who love cheeseburgers, but don’t want to eat much of them, as they are so fattening, caloric and (well, call it like it is) unhealthy!

Then, I got interested in this “mini food” or “dollhouse food” movement.  I passed by Crumbs bakery, too, and discovered a world of mini-cupcakes, like these for the holidays:

Aren’t they cute?  I could eat dozens.  On no!  I will not by the grace of God.  Turns out, Crumbs is a really hip and highly popular bakery found in several cities in the east (centered around New York) and west (centered around L.A.).  Check them out.  They are as good as they look.

I’m into this mini-food thing, though. I began to research it.  Some call this fad the “dollhouse food” craze.  There’s even a blog called “mini food”  Check that one out too, here.

Being a recovered compulsive over-eater, I must be really, really careful of the many minis.  I don’t possess the willpower to avoid them.  The last thing I want to do is binge out, so, best for me to look and don’t touch.

Nothing like praying to God for help in burger joints and bakeries!
