It’s a rainy day today. All cold and wet, and dreary too.
I have worked hard, very hard this week. All I want is rest. I’m hungry too for some really good food and plenty of it.
Hmmm. This could also be my old habits talking. I think what’s best is to do the resting part, but skip the “plenty of food” part.
On second thought, analyzing my situation, it’s rest and energy I need.
A drink of water and a nap is what’s required. No overeating. I’m going to stick with my food plan as I take a good rest.
Before my nap, I’ll say some good prayers and thank God for this day of slowness and recharging.
