It’s really important to stay with a daily routine of structured eating.  Knowing how much to eat of each food group, for you, in order to either lose weight or maintain your weight is vital.

Sometimes, though, you may be tempted to overeat beyond your limits.   There are just times that you’re extra hungry, bored, feeling difficult emotions, or overeating from habit.  There are moments when you’ve eaten all you need to, or should eat, but you want more.  You may even feel out of control, i.e., compulsive.  In those times, you need some extra powerful help.

Try saying the following sentence out loud, to yourself, to others and to God. Say it repeatedly, with conviction.

“I am not eating more today by the grace of God.”

That’s right, and it’s true.  You don’t need to eat more, and you are not.  You’re done for the day.  Help is here, as it always is, you’re accessing God’s help by calling on Him. You are experiencing the grace of God, and being given the power to stop.

“I am not eating more today by the grace of God.”   Say it again and again.  Believe it to be true.

Now, get out of the kitchen and do something else!  The problem is solved.
