Here’s another idea to add to this month’s collection of ideas and ways to save and lose weight at the same time.  Today I want to suggest a healthy cooking party!

Invite a few friends over, say 3 or 4, and ask them to each bring a recipe and ingredients to each make a dish. Then everyone can each take a portion, and everyone will end up with 3 or 4 dishes for the week!

Use email to coordinate what each person will cook.  It should be things that will keep well: refrigerated for several days, or frozen.  Dishes that are healthy, and low calorie (but not with “diet” ingredients, PLEASE!) are the best.
