There’s something about a hot cup of tea after dinner, a couple of hours before bed, to help you feel full.  Just be sure it doesn’t have caffeine to keep you awake, and not have it later than 2 hours or so before bed, so as not to make you have to get up too much, interrupting your restful sleep.

Have a cup of herb tea: if you like sweets at night perhaps you will like a fruited herb tea, like strawberry or kiwifruit to give you a taste of sweetness without sugar.  Or blackberry, or apple tea can also be satisfying, without any calories.  That way, may be you can avoid nighttime eating sugar-laden snacks.

Chamomile tea is something that can help you sleep, or make you feel drowsy without caffeine.

What really works for me is to have a little cinnamon in my nighttime tea – I don’t know why, but it instantly takes away cravings and my hunger pangs.  There’s a tea concoction that’s a combination apple and cinnamon, which is really tasty and satisfying.

Try this – it works!  Let us know how it goes, please.  We always love reading comments.
