The only successful method for losing weight is to start new healthy habits and keep them going, not just quickly drop a bunch of poundage on a crash diet.
This is not new information!  I’m sure you know this.  What’s new here, is the process of self discovery and education, from a different perspective.

Make an effort to learn what normal, healthy, nutritious
eating amounts to. Find right serving sizes. Spread out your meals and
snacks into more little ones, throughout the day, so you are always physically satisfied.

Take a look at the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Guidlines for Americans.
Eat
the USDA’s recommended minimum number of servings in each food group,
each day. Eat from all the food groups, each day. Then you will get
enough, be healthy, and your weight will naturally return to normal.

The trick, though, is to fully understand what is causing you to eat too much, or not use the energy you’re consuming.  In other words, finding balance.  That is what this blog is all about, and it takes time and loving care.  Discovering yourself, and your true needs is, however, a great adventure, and is in itself satisfying.  So keep it up along with me, we’ll get to your promised land together.
