Essential Oils | Autism | Depression Help | Terezia Farkas | author |Beliefnet

My article ‘5 Essential Oils To Fight Fatigue and Open Chakras’ mentions that essential oils can be used for autism to calm the person. I have a dear friend who has an autistic thirteen year old son. So I did some research and here’s what I learned about using essential oils for autism.

There are strong testimonials about using essential oils for autism to calm and relax the person. Essential oils restore balance to the body and help with mental acuity and focus. Essential oils allow the mind to reconnect and react positively to surroundings by psychologically grounding, calming and stabilizing a person. Meltdowns are reduced or eliminated. Essential oils also help with sleep issues, anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem.

I suggest checking with your doctor before trying any essential oils. What works for someone might not work for you. Be aware that essential oils can cause allergic reactions and issues of heavy metal toxicity. If essential oils seem to be working better than medication, you might want to discuss the matter first with your doctor before deciding to stop using the medication.

I’d love to know if you’ve used essential oils for autism, how quickly or noticeable was the change in behaviour and attitude? Are you still using essential oils for autism? Have a wonderful day everyone!
