A thoughtful reader sent me the picture above, from the diaconate ordination for the Diocese of Orlando this past weekend. Fourteen permanent deacons and one transitional one received the sacrament of Holy Orders at Mary Queen of the Universe Shrine (one of my favorite places to worship, by the way), just a stone’s throw from the main gate of Disney World.
