We finally had the formal dedication of the studio (and blessing of the chapel) for the new home for New Evangelization Television (NET) this afternoon. The building, just off Prospect Park in Brooklyn, was officially renamed the “Msgr. Michael Dempsey Studio,” after the founder of the channel. And the man himself was there for the ribbon-cutting. In the absence of Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio (recovering from bypass surgery), auxiliary bishop Ignatius Catanello presided.
