No way, Neptune, we didn’t forget about you! But in all the hullabaloo over Monday’s Full Moon Lunar Eclipse and Tuesday’s Venus transit of the Sun, we haven’t had a chance to discuss Neptune Retrograde.
Nebulous planet Neptune went retrograde on Monday, which will require us to get real for the next five months.
As the planet of dreams, spirituality and personal possibilities, Neptune helps us gloss over the harsher aspects of life. So when it’s retrograde, it’s time to face the truth.
This isn’t bad, of course. It might be difficult, as reality checks can be. But this is a really productive time to get clear about what you’re doing, where you’re going and who you’re spending your time with.
Personally, I think Neptune Retrograde is a real game changer, and I like it!

It’s one thing to feel Astrology, but it’s even more amazing when you can actually see it in action. So take a look up this Wednesday, June 5 as love planet Venus visibly transits the Sun in a once-in-a-lifetime event.
Venus will cross the Sun from about 3:06 p.m. to 10 p.m. (PDT), and if you pick up a pair of solar glasses or welder’s glasses from a home improvement store, you’ll be able to see it from most places in the world. This won’t happen again until 2117!
Aside from the visual spectacle, this Venus-Sun conjunction has significant meaning in Astrology, too. It’s great news for love and relationships! When the Sun is conjunct Venus, it puts an emphasis on creativity and self-expression. It’s about getting out to meet and mingle, throwing parties and putting energy into pleasurable activities.
So go on, get out there! Maybe you’ll meet someone special while you’re shopping for those welder’s glasses!

Here we go again! There’s another eclipse today, but this time it’s a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius, so it won’t rattle us quite as much as the Solar Eclipse in Gemini a few weeks back.
That said, Monday’s Lunar Eclipse may still turn our plans upside down. It’s about letting go of old dreams so we can pursue new ones, and we might be surprised by how willing we are to make some big changes today.
This is also backed up by another significant cosmic event happening today, which is Neptune Retrograde. Neptune is the planet of dreams, spirituality and personal possibilities, so when it spins backward the next five months we’ll find ourselves getting real.
It’s time to re-examine our beliefs, so don’t be afraid to change your plans if they no longer sound appealing. This may result in disruptions — either by you or to you — so stay on your toes!

June is always my favorite month — it’s when the roses start blooming here in Portland, Ore., the weather starts to warm, people pick up on that fun, flirty Sun-in-Gemini energy, and then of course it’s also my birthday month. Exciting!
This June may not be quite as sweet as usual — after all, Venus is still retrograde until June 27 — but it will be especially interesting, as it’s packed with major astrological events that will have ramifications in our personal lives and in culture for years to come.
We’re in a period of profound transformation, and it all begins this month with the first of seven major Uranus-Pluto squares taking place on June 24. We can expect to see some major social shifts between now and March of 2015!
This month also features a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius, Neptune Retrograde, Jupiter in Gemini, Mercury and the Sun movie into Cancer, and Summer Solstice! Whew! It’s gettin’ cah-razy!
I’m am expecting some truly amazing things to happen this month — there’s a focus on letting go of the past and lightening up and moving on. But the ride might get a little bumpy along the way. I’m going to ride in stride, however, because at least I know I’m on the way to somewhere special.
