Saturn, which has been retrograde since February 7, finally went direct yesterday (Monday, June 25), and frankly it’s killing my buzz — but just a little.
Saturn is known as the planet of karma and life lessons, so whenever it’s retrograde we get a little break from taking life too seriously. So I guess the fun is over. That’s the not-so-good-news.
The good news is that Saturn is going direct in the loving and balanced sign of Libra this time, so our life lessons now will at least be gentler.
We may not notice Saturn’s forward-moving energy dramatically. But we can expect to feel a little bit more urgency about our issues and our life’s direction than we have in the past few months.
I think it’s especially interesting that Saturn is going direct just before love planet Venus also goes direct on Wednesday, June 27. The combined effect of the karma planet and the love planet both beginning to move forward again will certainly put a focus on relationships.
For couples who’ve been working through issues or deciding whether to stay together or separate, the decision could very well be made this week!

Oh boy, Mercury is moving into Leo, and that means my big mouth is going to get me in trouble! As a Gemini, this is often a problem no matter where the communication planet is transiting — but when it’s Leo, I tend to roar even louder.
Mercury moves into Leo on Monday (also known as today), and this transit is all about expressing yourself loud and clear. This always results in lots of heartfelt talk, jokes and laughter — but also a few temper tantrums and drama.
I guess if you’re going to express yourself, both the good and the bad are going to come out. It kind of has to go both ways, doesn’t it?
The main thing to keep in mind is just to try a little harder to think before you speak. That’s what I’m going to do, as it seems the best way to avoid causing any trouble.

By now you’ve certainly heard about “Uranus square Pluto,” right?! Astrologers have been talking about this epic Astrology event for years, and now it’s finally here!
This Sunday, June 24 at 2:12 a.m. PT / 5:12 a.m. ET, Uranus, the planet of freedom and surprises, will make an exact Square with Pluto, planet of transformation. This is the first in a series of seven such squares that will take place between now and 2015.
Master Astrologers say this series of squares will transform the world as we know it, sparking profound change on every level — personally, professionally, globally, economically, etc…
I’m personally excited to see what happens over the next few years because I’ve felt big changes coming for some time now. Life seems to have become so much more difficult and dramatic for everyone in recent years. It seems like it’s building up to something, doesn’t it?
Change can be traumatic, for sure. But the good news is that all of this upheaval is designed to help us evolve and push forward to the next level.
This process of transformation is supposed to happen over the next few years, but I still can’t help being curious if something dramatic will happen on Sunday. Stay tuned! And study up on Uranus square Pluto here:

Now that it’s officially summer, it’s time to make some plans! The question is will those plans include romance?
There is a lot of planetary action that needs monitoring this summer, and it’s going to make our love lives exciting for sure — but that could be either good or bad. See, this is pretty much make-or-break time for many couples.
I’m excited, personally, because my own romance seems to be going quite well, and love planet Venus is about to go direct in my own sign of Gemini. Plus, my Summer Love Horoscope reads fantastic! Whew. I think we’re going to make it rather than break it.
But I’m worried about a few things — like the Uranus-Pluto square on June 24, which invites profound change (again, in love that could be good or traumatic). And, of course, Mercury goes Retrograde on July 14, which is typically hard on relationships.
Overall, this summer looks like kind of a mixed bag when it comes to love. Some signs are going to be swimming in it (Gemini, Sagittarius), while others will need to work a little harder for it (Aries, Scorpio).
See if your own love life will be up, down or a little of both this sultry summer!
