A New Zodiac Cycle Begins!

posted by Karen A. Kay

Sun in Aries at Tarot.comHappy Astrological New Year! The Sun moved into aries on March 20, signaling the arrival of spring and a new cycle of the zodiac. In other words, life officially begins again!

Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, so Astrological New Year marks the start of a new life cycle. You should be feeling energized and ready to make a bold move, as we all are at this time of year.

In fact, Aries is the most fearless sign of the zodiac. They’re the ones who are always charging ahead, leading the pack, exploring unknown territory and doing exciting things.

All of us will adapt some of this Aries personality during Aries season, so don’t expect any dull moments in the coming month.

Of course, Aries is also the sign represented by the Ram, and that’s because they have a tendency to trample right over other people in all their enthusiasm.

Most of us will also adapt some of this recklessness now, so try to be extra careful with what you say and do now so no one gets hurt (including you!)

I really feel this “New Year” energy — even more than I do at the start of a new calendar year, because the Sun is shining and new things are growing. It’s our chance for growth now, too, so get on out there and celebrate spring!

Spring Arrives This Week!

posted by Karen A. Kay

female-bicycle-glyphs-380x235Spring officially arrives on Thursday, March 20, 2014, and I am sooooooooo ready for it. The Spring Equinox happens when the Sun moves into Aries, kicking off the Astrological New Year and all kinds of new beginnings.

At Spring Equinox the day and night will be at equal length, which represents balance and harmony in the world. Then, we have a chance to make a fresh start as the days grow longer and our energy returns.

This sounds pretty cliché, right? But it’s true! I can feel my own energy returning already. This was a long, cold winter fraught with upsets for so many people I know, and it was capped off by an ultra-confusing Mercury Retrograde AND Mars Retrograde is still in effect.

But guess what — at least winter is over!

Mercury is direct, the Sun is shining — even here where I live in the perpetually rainy Northwest — and spring has arrived! It’s time for a mental rebirth and I’m going to use all this positive energy to get happier and healthier.

What are YOU going to do?

Jupiter Direct: Home Is Where the Heart Is

posted by Karen A. Kay

jupiter-lucky-stars-quoteGood news, everyone! Lucky planet Jupiter just turned direct in the sign of Cancer, which means you’ll start having better luck with home and family matters than you’ve had in at least the past four months.

Jupiter is the planet of expansion, fortune, higher mind, philosophy and beliefs, and it’s been retrograde since November. But now that it’s in forward motion, you’ll be able to open your eyes to a brighter view and change your life for the better.

In fact, almost anything you start during this time is likely to bring success, whether it’s a new friendship, relationship or job, so get out there and take advantage of this potent time!

And don’t forget, because Jupiter is moving forward in Cancer, the sign of home and family, you’ll have especially good luck in those areas now.

Share this time with your loved ones and you can build lasting bonds. Now more than ever, home is where the heart is.

Mars Retrograde: March SLOWLY Into Spring

posted by Karen A. Kay

March Horoscopes 2014 at Tarot.comSpring is less than three weeks away! I can see the light at the end of my cold, dark winter tunnel. Er, all we have to do now is navigate Mars Retrograde, which will have us spinning backward the entire month.

But navigating Mars Retrograde is not going to be easy.

The March Horoscopes indicate it’s going to be a month of push and pull, with relationships floundering and delayed progress.

That’s because action planet Mars rules war and sex, and it’s retrograde in peaceful Libra, the sign of partnerships.

Couples can expect some fights, tension and trouble in the bedroom all month due to laziness, low libidos and mixed messages … yipes!

But, hey — sex isn’t everything. This can also be a time to slow down and rest and catch your breath. If you can keep the peace, you’ll be able to use this time to get ready for the new astrological year that begins when the Sun moves into Aries on March 20.

See? It’s not all bad! And like I said, spring is almost here. Read your horoscope for key dates and predictions to make the most of this confusing month as we march (slowly) into spring.
