New Moon, New You

New Moon in Capricorn Horoscopes at Tarot.comMost of us made our New Year resolutions a couple of weeks ago, but I decided to wait. Why? Because I was holding out for the New Moon in Capricorn on Jan. 11, 2013.

New Moon’s are always about new beginnings, but this one has powerful Capricorn energy to back it up. Capricorn is patient, dedicated and driven, so we are more likely to succeed at whatever we resolve right to do right now.

So if you’ve wanted to make a fresh start, this is a great time to do it. Whether your plan is to embark on a new career or finally read “War and Peace” all the way through, you’ll have the determination and  stick-to-itiveness to see real results.

Of course, the results won’t be immediate. Capricorn is about setting goals and then working hard to achieve them. You’re not going to get out of doing the work!

But the important thing is to make goals now, then follow-through with the hard work and everything will fall into place.

You can get more specific advice for how every sign should handle this New Moon energy at Tarot.com. My own sign, Gemini, is advised to do some personal and professional relationship building. If we can do that over cocktails, it doesn’t sound like such hard work to me!
