CAMP09.jpgAsalaamu Alaikum!

Please join us at the 3rd Annual CAMP Leadership Summit on Saturday, May 2nd, 2009 in Princeton, NJ. Our theme this year is LEADING IN A CHANGING LANDSCAPE. We would really love to see all of you there! The success of the conference will depend on the quality of our panels/panelists (our job) and the quality of our attendees (all of you!) – please do come and pass the word on.

We are in the midst of the worst economic and financial crisis since the Depression and many Americans, including Muslim Americans, are facing fear and anxiety in these times of instability. However, America also witnessed a historic election in 2008 and is now enjoying the first 100 days of a new landmark administration.  We, as Muslim Americans, participated in greater numbers than ever before in Election 2008, making our own mark in the momentous election season. Also, we have entered an ‘Era of Responsibility’ and President Obama has called on all Americans to cultivate a spirit of service towards our cities and communities.

How do we best equip ourselves to deal with these challenging economic times? How do we continue to increase our level of political participation and civic engagement? And how do we continue to develop the Muslim American identity, while also answering our new President’s and our country’s call to service?

Come join us to discuss these questions and more………….
