What Do You Want?

posted by vreiss

By Valerie Reiss, filling in for Amy.

Hi. I thought I’d take a moment and poll those of you reading about what you’d like from this blog. Technologically, it’s hard for us to tell which posts “work” and which fall flat. So we’d like to know what you’d like to see more of, and what you’d like to see less of. I wish we had poll-taking technology on this blog, but in lieu of that, I’ve listed some topics you can comment on–say more, less, or the same–in the comment space here or by sending to this email: here. Also feel free to let us know about topics you’d like to see covered that I haven’t mentioned.

Thanks!

Spiritual parenting
Yoga
Holistic health
Holistic weight loss
Alternative medicine
The environment
Holistic beauty products
Holistic home products

Thanks!

Gees, that’s alot of topics to choose from. If I had my choice, anything spiritual listed is what I like to read about. Also, I like when Amy shares with her readers about her family. I like to talk about relationships and just everyday relating to others- reaching out and connecting with them. So, those are my votes.

I Like all of it, but I’d surely never want to see any of Amy’s postings on current events, culture, politics, and all of the surprising elements to this blog edited out or categorized to death. The freedom, airyness (as in breath of fresh air) and versatility are all part of what makes Amy’s Chattering Mind the sweet and engaging gem that it is.

I’d like to see more environmental things, how to’s, spiritual websites, magazines, counseling, balanced life issues, and law of attraction. The audio and video I can do without. On my crappy video links, they take forever to download, and most times don’t. I’m not a parent, so the spritual parenting posts I just skip over.

I like the variety as long as it has some spiritual connection. I generally don’t post unless I have an inspiring story, or if there is something contraversal. The topics that make you think can be fuel for discussion. Something like the “right to life”, or living wills would be interesting to get everyones spiritual perspective on those final days.

CM's Final Posts: You Can Fill the Space
Eighteen years ago, I wrote an article for a magazine that got me called in for a taped interview with a Fox TV morning news anchor. Being an effective communicator and a skillful public speaker was a dream of mine at the time. And still is. After some 30 minutes of prep with the station's hair-and-

Websites to Visit, Blogs to Read
Here are some blogs and websites I like. It's not a complete list. But it's a start. The first is called New Moon Journal and it is written by Michele Bailey-Lessirard, a life coach, collage artist, and "shamanic astrologer." On the opening page of her site, you'll find a little slide show of her am

And Finally, This:
Place your burden at the feet of the Lord of the Universe who accomplishes everything. Remain all the time steadfast in the heart, in the Transcendental Absolute. God knows the past, present and future. He will determine the future for you and accomplish the work. What is to be done will be done at
