Tibetan Thangka on Your Derriere!

Oh, this is such fun! Beliefnet has pulled together a “multifaith slideshow of novelty sacrilege.” Please have a look.

If you like this sort of thing, you’ll also giggle over Laura Sheahen’s classic round-up of religious kitsch. Crucifixion necktie, anyone?

I think we’ve lost our minds. These items just scream cultural blindness. When anyone can make a buck off T-shirts emblazoned with “Mecca, USA” how can anyone then ask “Why do they hate us?” Connect the dots. Better yet, read Lawrence Wright’s book.>

I agree with both of the above. But mostly, I think we have lost all perspective about what’s appropriate. Offensive to some, funny to others, these things are totally lacking in any sense of good taste.>

Websites to Visit, Blogs to Read
Here are some blogs and websites I like. It's not a complete list. But it's a start. The first is called New Moon Journal and it is written by Michele Bailey-Lessirard, a life coach, collage artist, and "shamanic astrologer." On the opening page of her site, you'll find a little slide show of her am

And Finally, This:
Place your burden at the feet of the Lord of the Universe who accomplishes everything. Remain all the time steadfast in the heart, in the Transcendental Absolute. God knows the past, present and future. He will determine the future for you and accomplish the work. What is to be done will be done at
