Goodbye ‘King’ … we hardly knew ye.

Burger King will reportedly drop use of the statuesque ‘King’, which I did not think was such a great advertising face to begin with.

Some people think he looked a little creepy and that’s hard to argue.

In my opinion, having a little too much knowledge of fast food, Burger King needs to worry less about being cute in its ads and do a better job with its menu.

While BK introduced things like ribs and other heavy “appetizers”, McDonalds has ramped up its salads and added healthier fare like smoothies, yogurt and oatmeal.

Sorry BK, but McDonalds is the king of fast food and that’s not entirely a bad thing.
