Nuthin’ fancy.

That may be the best way to describe the A&E reality program Storage Wars.

The show follows two single men, a husband and wife team and a father and son pairing as they battle through auctions for unpaid storage units.

Which ones will contain pee-stained sofas, and which units will have treasures like thousand-dollar watches and guitars worth even more?

One of the “competitors” in a recent episode noticed guitar picks on the floor of one storage unit and wisely won that bid.

He will sell the watches and guitars he lucked upon and profit handsomely off his “treasure”.

It’s a guessing game, however, as potential bidders can’t review the items until/unless they are the winning bid.

Talk about buyer beware!

A reported A&E record of over 5 million viewers watched the season two premiere, so the premise is working and the show is enjoyable.
