The Bliss Blog

Kindred Connection

Two of my favorite people on the planet, Ruth Anne Wood and Peter Moses have joined creative forces and crafted a recitation of a poem that Ruth wrote, inspired by a presentation Peter offered a year ago. If you have been following the Bliss Blog since its inception, you may have read the initial Wednesday feature called Living Their Bliss. Ruth Anne was kind enough to share the things that inspire her to be her most beautifully blissful self. If you haven’t read it, feel free to venture back into the archives. I offer the blending of talent and love as your Bliss Kiss with which to enter into your beautiful weekend.

Thanks for sharing this poem. I treasure the nickname you gave me from that era (circa age 17), “Ruth the Poet”. Sometimes a creative expression appears to be finished and then 17 years later a new spark reignites the conversation. That’s what happened with the poem “Connections” when I first heard singer song writer and zen mystic Peter Moses perform.

They were the dearest people in my life; teachers, guides, providers, cheerleaders and guardians of my heart and soul. Although I know that they are safe and so

Living in Your God-ness
There are some people who come into our lives at a point in time when we are entering a new way of being. They plant seeds and are not necessarily a regular part of our days. Kind of like music in the background that puts a smile on your face when you hear it. Such has been the case with my friend

Avoiding Mental Traffic Jams
This morning, while in session with a therapy client, I was speaking about the importance of mindfulness in maintaining structure and functionality in our lives. There are some days during which a running dialogue is taking place in my head, between .....well ... me and me. I will say, "Ok
