The Bliss Blog

Kindred Connection

Two of my favorite people on the planet, Ruth Anne Wood and Peter Moses have joined creative forces and crafted a recitation of a poem that Ruth wrote, inspired by a presentation Peter offered a year ago. If you have been following the Bliss Blog since its inception, you may have read the initial Wednesday feature called Living Their Bliss. Ruth Anne was kind enough to share the things that inspire her to be her most beautifully blissful self. If you haven’t read it, feel free to venture back into the archives. I offer the blending of talent and love as your Bliss Kiss with which to enter into your beautiful weekend.

Thanks for sharing this poem. I treasure the nickname you gave me from that era (circa age 17), “Ruth the Poet”. Sometimes a creative expression appears to be finished and then 17 years later a new spark reignites the conversation. That’s what happened with the poem “Connections” when I first heard singer song writer and zen mystic Peter Moses perform.

Invulnerable and Invincible?
Yesterday, in the midst of a radio interview with Kerri Kannan,  I was asked a question about vulnerability. It is a topic that has become as familiar as the fingers typing these words. I was awakened to it when viewing a TEDTalk by Brene' Brown a year or so ago. It doesn't come easily to

The Now What Club
This morning, I joined two dear friends for brunch at Mal's Diner in Skippack, PA.  After a heart-healthy workout in cardiac rehab, I had a heart- happy  meal of egg whites, spinach (no cheese), fresh fruit instead of home fries and dry (no butter) whole grain toast. Yvonne Kaye has been my mentor

Enjoy Every Moment
Feeling emotionally raw at the moment, having just returned from a day of honoring my friend Delane Lipka. I had written about another extraordinary day in a previous Beliefnet article called In the Garden of Eden that described a gathering of kindred spirits that had been organized by Delane. For d
