Arms flabby but  no time to go to the gym?  Time to get out the window cleaner and start polishing the glass.  Think about your posture — shoulders back and down and stomach in.  Remember to pretend you are clenching a hundred dollar bill between your butt cheeks to get the right pelvic tilt.  Now stretch and rub for a good arm workout.  Try washing up and down on the inside, back and forth on the outside. That way you work out more muscles, and besides, you can tell which side the streak is on that way.

I use vinegar with water for washing glass. It works great and is non-toxic.  Most household cleaners are full of toxins, some of which are known carcinogens and others which mimic estrogens which encourage your body to store fat.  No need to spend money on poison when something cheap and non-toxic works just as well.  You will burn about 180 calories or so if you spend an hour cleaning your windows and mirrors.

Your muscles will get a strength-training workout and you will have the added bonus of clean windows!  I think I’ll grab my spray bottle of vinegar water and get busy.

Eating to live and living for Christ,

Susan Jordan Brown
