pocket therapist front cover small.jpgI have decided to dedicate a post on Thursday to therapy, and offer you the many tips I have learned on the couch. They will be a good reminder for me, as well, of something small I can concentrate on. Many of them are published in my book, “The Pocket Therapist: An Emotional Survival Kit.
There is a wonderful Japanese proverb that says “Fall seven times, stand up eight.” I often think of that quote when confronting challenge number 7654 for the day, as well as the Buddhist saying, “If we are facing in the right direction, all we have to do is keep on walking.” And finally, Mary Anne Radmacher once wrote: “Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, ‘I will try again tomorrow.'”
