Here’s another sample affirmation letter–from Beth (StillGrowing) to Sally (SissyJoe):
Here’s another great example! From Beth (StillGrowing) to Sally (SissyJoe):

Dear Sally,
I have learned some about you from your profile, journal and posts I have read. You seem to be a strong woman. I feel honored to have you as my letter recipient.
1. You have brought up three children. I am in the process and I know how hard that it. It shows you are a loving person.
2. You are married. That shows that you both give and receive love as well as are able to compromise.
3. You have found a religious center; I know you are searching for ways to express it, but you know your beliefs and that gives you inner peace.
4. You are able to ask for help and support when you need it. You are humble enough to ask for help.

5. You are also able to give help and support when others need it. You never say you know it all, but you are willing to offer suggestions and love to others.
6. You are invariably polite and courteous to others. I see so many people who are not that it is wonderful to see someone who values the feelings of others.
7. You are growing and changing. I see that you are working on ways to better cope with depression, stress, and your spirituality. To me, the mark of true maturity is to realize that we have to continually grow to be all that we can.
8. You have a sense of humor. You are able to laugh and have fun.
9. You read and think (which is part of your ablitiy to grow). As a teacher, I love it when adults still love to read and inform themselves.
10. You love animals. I saw the picture of the dog (scotty?) and cat.
Anyone who loves animals and takes care of them deserves the unconditional love they receive in return.
I hope this letter reminds you what a beautiful, wonderful person you are. I am proud to have you as a friend!
Beth
