I have to tell you one of the biggest saving graces in life have been my mentors.  Just recently I found myself in a place of uncertainty and I was being attacked spiritually.  I was so overwhelmed and disoriented, that I was going to make some very hasty decisions.  Having a moment of clarity, I decided to reach out to my mentors for their input and it was just what I needed.

As you take the exciting journey towards greatness, you’re going to need and encounter some people who serve as sign posts to guide you on the narrow path.  Sometimes, they are pleasant and sometimes they are challenging, but they are always invested in your success.  It’s important to know that we were created for relationships.   I’ve made tremendous mistakes along my journey.  Some that I didn’t need to experience.   Mentors help to avoid certain pitfalls.

Oftentimes, mentors have a strong desire for you to avoid some of the mistakes they’ve made.  Moreover, they have a strong sense of insight into your life.  They pick you; you don’t pick them.  I find myself mentoring and my hope is that those I mentor surpass me and excel in greatness.

If you don’t have a mentor, ask God to send someone your way or to reveal to you those who currently may be in your life who are waiting for you to the realize who they are to you. Indeed there is truly safety in a multitude of counselors.

Remember we have the ability to not only change our world, but the world as a whole….BE GREAT!!

Until Next Time,

Pervis
