There is lots of planetary energy today, and much of it is going in different directions.  Mercury, which is in Taurus now where the thought process is relatively slow and careful, makes a challenging square to Neptune, Chiron and Jupiter today.  Mercury deals with the absorption of our experiences and the way we think about them, and because Mercury is retrograde we are looking back now into the past to see where our old hurts (Chiron) or fantasies (Neptune) may have led us astray.  We are a bit impatient as well, with the square from Mercury to Jupiter.

Meanwhile the Sun enters Gemini this afternoon at 5:51 pm EDT which begins to shine a bright light and aid us in looking into the fog so that we can make sense of it on an intellectual level.  This helps to activate the mind and aid the processing of information that can facilitate the healing process.

Chiron and Neptune are involved with intuition as well as healing, and the square of Mercury to these two planets as well as Jupiter could lead to some conflict between the rational mental function and the intuitive gut responses that we often depend on.  Any such conflict will fade early tomorrow morning when Mercury forms a sextile to Uranus at around 3 am EDT and begins opening the doors again.
