The Moon is relatively quiet this morning, and late this afternoon our creativity will be unleashed with a trine from the Moon to Uranus at 12:45 pm.  The creativity of Uranus is different than Neptunian creativity, which is more flowing.  With Uranus, we experience sudden flashes of brilliant ideas that inspire and excite us.

Mercury enters its own sign Gemini tonight at 6:30 pm EDT, where for the next few weeks it will inspire us to hone our communication skills, engage in debate and embrace other views, and adapt more easily to our surroundings.  Mercury is beginning to slow down in preparation for its retrograde turn on May 6-7 so even though our minds may be more active under the Gemini influence we will be somewhat hampered in communication efforts.  This may be particularly problematic when Mercury retrogrades back into Taurus on May 14.  Mercury in Gemini is able to adapt when our experiences are blocked, but in Taurus we can become more easily stuck in old patterns of thinking that can create problems when communication is difficult in the retrograde period.

The Moon enters Leo tonight at around 9 pm EDT, opening the heart to seek a genuine joy, and a harmonious sextile to Mercury at the same time facilitates understanding and an ability to communicate our feelings to others.  Things get even better as the night goes on and the Moon forms a trine to Venus at 1 am on April 30 EDT bringing an overall sense of peace and an open heart.
