The Moon has entered Venus-ruled Libra, just in time for Valentine’s Day!  Libra is well-known for being the sign of relationships, but it is also the sign of balance and harmony. Under the Libra influence, we have a deeper longing for equanimity and peaceful surroundings.  Our sense of the aesthetic is heightened along with our appreciation for beauty.

The conjunction between the Sun and Neptune that we discussed yesterday culminates this morning at 7:41 am EST, followed shortly thereafter by a square (challenging aspect) from the Moon to Pluto at around 8.  Despite the Libran desire for harmony, the square to Pluto could create friction as we struggle to find our balance.  This could result in power struggles with others as our own anxieties are projected onto the people around us, or it could just settle into a depth of experience that can be beautifully expressed through writing or journaling.  This influence will have passed by late morning.

Around noon we will begin to feel re-energized by a trine from the Moon to Mars which helps us to feel focused and ready to tackle the issues of the day.  Later in the afternoon we may find that our emotions (Moon) create some tension with those of the people around us as the Moon opposes Venus at around 4:30 pm.  This aspect can be somewhat self-indulgent so it might be a good time to plan a visit to the gym.

By 5 pm or so we will be heading towards the expansive wonder of a trine from the Moon to Jupiter and all will be well.  The transits of the Moon only last for a few hours, but the doors to opportunity are wide open now until the aspect peaks at 7:30 pm so take advantage of this time to create some new powerful intentions!
