Early in the morning the Moon, in the get-down-to-business sign of Capricorn now, made a trine to Capricorn’s ruler Saturn and a few hours later a sextile to Uranus.  These are both harmonious aspects, and helps to bring the opposition of Saturn and Uranus into better balance (see other posts on this topic if you need clarification).  We are likely waking up with a clearer sense of purpose, and those on the West Coast experienced this around 9 pm last night.

This morning the Sun forms a sextile (harmonious aspect) to Pluto, an aspect that really began to make itself known yesterday.  This is a generally positive period that pulls us more deeply into ourselves and puts a focus on a deeper experience of the process of our lives.

The moon is Void of Course until it enters Aquarius around 9 pm EST, making this a less ideal time to begin anything new that will require a firm end date.  VOC Moon periods are best used for gestating a plan, thinking about a project – use this for creative work, and then after the Moon enters Aquarius tonight put the plan in motion.

Tomorrow the Moon will join the Aquarius lineup and activate even more the tremendous inspiration and creative energies available now.  I did a reading yesterday for a client whose Mercury is being affected by this lineup, and her mind (Mercury) has been flooded by ideas and new inspirations (Aquarius) to the point where she can’t sleep at night.  Many of us are having this experience and it can be unsettling to the nervous system.  Yoga, swimming and baths will help to cool the nervous system if the Aquarian energy becomes too hard to take.
