It was one year ago today that I blogged my first post, and so I’m having a party and you’re all invited! This has been a really fun year. Originally I intended this blog to be a place for day to day updates of planetary cycles for my client list, but it’s grown into so much more. At first it was difficult to find the discipline to sit down every day to write, but now it’s a complete joy. There are so many things that I’ve been able to research and write about that before I would have just thought of fleetingly and forgotten: what made Mel Gibson go crazy? what makes Ann Coulter such a wacko? What happened the last time Saturn opposed Neptune?

I also want to give a shout out to some people that have given support to this endeavor: Rich, who patiently waits during my hours on the computer, Jill, who set me up and encouraged me when no more than 20 people showed up at first; Laurel, Jon and Andrea, the first friends who read the blog and liked it; Jeffrey, the first astrologer who sent me kind and encouraging words; and most importantly, all of you who come and visit regularly and especially those who leave comments. As a writer, it’s really nice to get to know some of the people who are stopping by and giving feedback. Update! Two more thank yous: to Elsa and Robert, whose links help bring more readers every day, and to CK Rairden who is now posting to his National Ledger site not only celebrity profiles but also anything I send him.

This blog is for you, and your suggestions and feedback are welcome and encouraged! Some of you have sent requests for profiles that I haven’t done yet but I haven’t forgotten: they’re waiting for a news event that likely reflects a planetary cycle that will provide something of interest to us.

Thank you all for your support!!
