From fearful and timid to curious and courageous

I have a lot of Cardinals around here. The other day I watched a mother cardinal teaching her babies to fly. At first they were very timid but in a short amount of time they were flying from branch to branch. I also have a chicken coup and the mother showed them where they could go to get food too.

It was fun watching them go from fearful and timid to curious and courageous. One day I also watched two juvenile male cardinals do battle over some territory. They flew round and round the same area, as far as I could tell neither one ‘won’ the battle. One of them may have been the young bird I watched learn to fly.

At some point in life we all learned to walk and talk, most of us learned to drive and have done hundreds of things for the first time. I still remember how nervous I was when I took my driving test many, many years ago. A bit of practice takes us from fearful to familiar.

From fear to love

Practice allows us to get beyond our fear and so does connecting with our angels. When I took my driving test angels weren’t a conscious part of my reality but now they are.  When I have to do something for the first time now I can image an angel holding my hand.

I get so many questions from people asking me how to connect with angels. It really is a simple as imagining one holding our hand, or whispering sweet nothings in our ear, or embracing us as we go to sleep at night. Angels are always just a thought away, so think that thought now.
