Today isn’t just a day off it is a day to commit random acts of kindness. What could you do to improve the quality of someone else’s life? It can be as simple as taking the time to really smile at someone and say hello.

What a great way to honor the life of this great man …… You could even share your actions with all my readers in the comment section.

With love and aloha,

Angels are everywhere just open your mind and your heart to the signs.

Make Angels on Your Shoulder part of your daily routine and share it with a friend!

What a lovely quote. I didn’t do any dramatically kind acts today, just washed the rear windshield of the car next to mine at the gas station. I also bought more corn for the deer and other woodland creatures that grace our property. As a schlumpy white housewife in the midwest, sometimes I feel stupid wishing anyone a happy MLK day, or talking about him at all. I forced myself to overcome this dualistic thinking to post some sentiments on facebook. Felt it was time to embrace unity consciouness, not only in honor of MLK, but those who died in Tuscon as well. May peace yet reign in our time.

I would like to thanks Dr. Martin luther King for all his efforts to bring us all together as a community. We all have god given opportunities to make a difference in our community on a daily basis. Show some love and kindness to other people. This will also keep you in good health. Smile you have no idea how much a smile can health another person. I just turn 53 last wednesday and I choose to do God Will for the rest of my life. By doing Gods will I know I know I am on the right road to embrasing Dr. King Dream of a united community. Peace and God Bless you all…

Refelctions on the Vietnam War
I was surprised when I was reminded that it was the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War. I was in high school when the war started and much of my early life was lived against the back drop of vivid images of the war every night on the evening news. When I was in college the massacre at Kent State

Why angels?
People often want to talk to angels, connect with them or be guided by them. Why? I often wonder why angels? My theory is that people are seeking the love. Angels are never judgmental and they radiate love. As human beings we often forget that we live surrounded by love and that at a core leve

How to talk to the angels
I get asked this question all the time. It really is very easy but our minds can make it so much harder. We can doubt what we are hearing or sensing or feeling. You are always surrounded by angels. The moment you ask them for help they are there. The problem is we often don't let the help in.
