The gulf seems to be in the need of angels. Alex may very well be a hurricane in a few hours. The last thing the gulf needs right now is a hurricane churning up the water and making the oil spill worse. We could just watch, judge the events, feel fearful or send lots of love and prayers. We could call upon all the angels to surround the area and hold it in their loving arms.

I am a strong believer in the power of prayer and focusing on the perfection of all of life. When we see the perfection in even what we consider the ‘bad stuff’ and send it our gratitude and love life changes dramatically.

Several weeks ago I wrote a post about what we could do about the oil spill. I posted this prayer from Dr. Masaru Emoto.

“I send the energy of love and gratitude to the waters and all
living creatures in the Gulf of Mexico and its surroundings. To the
whales, dolphins, pelicans, fish, shellfish, plankton,
corals, algae … to ALL  living creatures … I am sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you.
I Love You.”

The idea behind this prayer can be applied to any event in life. It helps us move beyond fear and blame into gratitude and love. So, my suggestion is we all send the gulf and Alex all of our love and for that matter send ourselves and one another lots of love and gratitude.

With love and aloha,
Susan
