The plains were once again pummeled by tornadoes and at least five people were killed. My thoughts and my prayers are with the families affected by those
people’s deaths. I have never lived where tornadoes were prevalent but I remember being in Texas when tornadoes were in the area. I sure said a few prayers. I am sure the angels were busy today.

One of my favorite movies is The Wizard of Oz. In it Dorothy winds up in a magical land, Oz because of a tornado in Kansas.  If you haven’t seen the movie I highly recommend it, the story has touched my life at many levels.

In the Wizard of Oz Dorothy learns that she always had the power to go home and also learned a lot about love, courage and friendship. I think we all have the same opportunity in our lives everyday. Moment by moment we can add more love or fear to the earth by the thoughts we choose to focus on.

With all the events happening in our world these days the world could certainly use a lot more love. I hope you join me in offering loving prayers to all the people effected by the severe weather, the volcano as well as the wildlife, people and land effected by the oil spill.

With love and aloha,
Susan
