I often wondered why they called the day Jesus was crucified Good Friday. I read a number of articles about Easter weekend in the Holy Land. I read one description about how years ago Christians from all over the Middle East would converge on Jerusalem to walk in Jesus footsteps. They talked with nostalgia about all the pilgrims, hearing all the different accents and the people that would open their homes to one another.

I also ran across this wonderful website that showed pictures of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. You can actually go inside and see the church where it is believed Jesus was crucified.

All judgment is based on fear. As I thought about Good Friday I
couldn’t help but wonder if Jesus actually died because of our fear not
our sins. We are so willing to judge and that judgment caused a man who
taught all about love to die.

So, just for today, share only love instead of fear.
