Angels on Your Shoulder

World Hug Day

posted by Susan Gregg

Today is World Hug Day. What a great holiday. I am always amazed by the holidays people come up with. I found a world peace web site where you can pledge to give a hug today.

I used to have a small card of an angel with her arms out stretched that said:

 1 hug is good
 2 is better
 5 starting to feel loved
10 you’re a hug master, pass it on

We can all make the world a better place by sharing smiles and hugs and love and aloha. Look at what Amma, the hugging saint has done.

Today give and receive as many hugs as possible. After all it is World Hug Day!!!

With love and aloha,

Angels are everywhere just open your mind and your heart to the signs.

Make Angels on Your Shoulder part of your daily routine and share it with a friend!

Did you know you can ask your guardian angel for their name. My cousin shared an experience she had when she kept asking her angel for their name, and one night she awoke to a voice in her head that said My name is Sarah, with an h. So, I prayed and kept speaking to mine and it’s Bridget. I was expecting a grandiose name like Michael or Gabriel, But I love Bridget and feel closer to my protector and companion than I ever did before. Anyone else know the name of their personal guardian angels? love in Christ.

I hug those i feel close to my heart. There’s no special day for hugging someone, but embracing is different act. It’s deeper and dearer.Hug is what we give anywhere anytime, embrace is not.I love my mom and my dad, they are far away from me and embrace is what i wanna give them.I just realize that i have been hugging angels when hugging good people.

I think everyday is a wonderful day to share our love and hug our friends and family. I love the realization that when we hug another we are hugging an angel.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

Refelctions on the Vietnam War
I was surprised when I was reminded that it was the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War. I was in high school when the war started and much of my early life was lived against the back drop of vivid images of the war every night on the evening news. When I was in college the massacre at Kent State

Why angels?
People often want to talk to angels, connect with them or be guided by them. Why? I often wonder why angels? My theory is that people are seeking the love. Angels are never judgmental and they radiate love. As human beings we often forget that we live surrounded by love and that at a core leve

How to talk to the angels
I get asked this question all the time. It really is very easy but our minds can make it so much harder. We can doubt what we are hearing or sensing or feeling. You are always surrounded by angels. The moment you ask them for help they are there. The problem is we often don't let the help in.
