Aloha,

I have been getting a lot of emails about releasing fear lately, so I thought I would talk a bit about that today. Fear is a learned response so we can learn to respond differently. It takes practice and it is possible.

I tend to get frustrated when my computer doesn’t do what I want it to do. When I write my blog posts, occasionally the entire post disappears. At one point, I was ready to quit and then I began to practice saying “Blessed be” every time my computer acted up or my internet connection went crazy.

The longer I practice blessing my computer, the easier it becomes. My frustration was a learned behavior that I am learning to replace with something more expansive and loving.

An acronym for fear is:

False
Evidence
Appearing
Real

Fear is a learned response.

Fear is a learned response; it is us projecting the past on the present moment and reacting to that projection. As we acknowledge our response, we can teach ourselves a new one.  The most helpful response to fear that I have found is to use it as a trigger to remember to call upon the angels.

When I open my heart and my mind to the angelic realms, I feel safe. Fear is the antithesis of that feeling of connection. If you use fear as a reminder to connect, it will actually improve the quality of your life.

Fear can become:

Fast
Energetic
Angel
Reminder

We’ve learned that fear means we need to protect ourselves, that something bad is going to happen or we are in danger. What if, instead, we practice seeing fear simply as a reminder to connect with the angelic realms? What do you suppose would happen to the quality of life?

With love and aloha,
Susan
