Aloha everyone,

It sure is good to be home. Sunday is my 60th birthday. I find that hard to believe. Inside, I still feel like a kid, and I really never expected to get as ‘old’ as my Mom. She died when she was 61. Guess it is hanging around all those angels!

Each year before my birthday, I do a mental review of the year, see what I would like to let go of and what I would like to change by next year . I find that the quality of life is vastly improved by the type of questions we ask ourselves. When I ask myself why did this happen to me, my life changes very little. When I ask myself questions like what can I do differently the next time, my life gets a whole lot better. You can actually learn to use your fear to lead a fearless life, so here are some questions for Fearless Fridays.

“What are my greatest fears?”

After you list them, there are two things you can do to easily overcome them.

The first thing you can do that really works wonderfully is to ask to see your fears through the eyes of the angels. Their perspective is so expansive and loving that fear ceases to exist from that perspective.

The second thing you can do makes very little sense, but it works every time. Really think about your fear. Mentally create the worse possible scenario, make it really big and ugly. Then ask yourself if you want to or need to experience it. A little hint: adjust the story until the answer is a resounding NO. Then ask yourself what you would like to experience instead, and picture that very vividly. Every time fear arises, repeat this process. It won’t take long for your fear to dissolve.

When you are about to react from fear, ask yourself, “What would love do?”

A question I ask myself a lot that helps is, “How can I see this through the eyes of love?”

When I approach fear this way, it actually becomes an awesome tool for improving the quality of my life.

With love and aloha,
Susan

Remember angels really are on your shoulders and they love you!
