Setting healthy boundaries is not just about creating healthy emotional limits, it is about learning when you leave off and others begin. Sometimes just being around others can be a challenge, especially when we are unaware of the energy of others or ourselves and how we are all affected by it.
Becoming aware of your feelings helps you to learn to set boundaries. When you feel uncomfortable with another person’s behaviour, your emotions alert you. As you learn to trust your emotions and know which are yours, and which are someone else’s, you learn to trust your emotions. As you learn to trust your emotions, you feel more confident in expressing yourself and life becomes easier. If you have challenges with boundaries, it could be that you are an Empath!
Being an empath is when you are affected by other people’s energies, and have an innate ability to intuitively feel and perceive others. Your life is often unconsciously influenced by others’ desires, wishes, thoughts, and moods. Being an empath is much more than being highly sensitive and it’s not just limited to emotions. Empaths can perceive physical sensitivities as well as just knowing the motivations and intentions of other people. As an empath it is sometimes a challenge to know what is your own energy and what thoughts and feelings belong to others.
Take this test and see if you are an empath.

Your Angel Guidance is to look at your boundaries:
Go outside and draw a circle in some dirt. Set your intention to become aware of boundaries. Enter your circle. Open yourself up to the guidance of your angels and ask to see situations in your life to help you identify times when you were unaware of how the energy of others has impacted your quality of life.
Ask to become more aware of your own energy body and how it has been affected by others. See how becoming more aware of your energetic self can assist you in experiencing a better life.
State out loud how you would like to be treated by others.
Repeat this mantra every day. Make a card and carry with you:
“I choose to create new healthy boundaries for myself and others. I choose to listen to my own guidance, trust myself, and follow it. I respect myself. I value myself, and I love myself.”
Only leave the circle when you feel clear and positive about the boundaries you have set this day. Erase the circle in the dirt when you are done, knowing that you have set healthier and clearer energetic boundaries for yourself and these will ripple out into all aspects of your life.
