Si usted nunca ha oído hablar de una organización llamada Joni and Friends, es un gran ministerio. La mejor ministerio en nuestra nación para las personas con discapacidad, Joni and Friends ofrece un ejemplo poderoso de cómo los cristianos pueden mostrar el amor de manera práctica a las personas con discapacidad.

Mi programa favorito que ofrecen se llama “Ruedas para el Mundo“. La simple idea es proporcionar sillas de ruedas a todas las personas alrededor del mundo que necesita una silla de ruedas y no es capaz de comprar uno.

Ruedas para el Mundo ofrece una silla de ruedas libres, junto con el Evangelio de Jesucristo a los niños y adultos afectados por discapacidad en el mundo.

Desde 1994, nuestros Ruedas para el Mundo ministerio ha presentado el Evangelio mediante la entrega de sillas de ruedas y Biblias en los países en desarrollo. Pero Ruedas para el Mundo no se trata simplemente de “dejar a una silla de ruedas.” Se trata de cambiar los corazones, las mentes y las vidas de las personas. Se trata de transformar las sociedades, pueblo por pueblo, persona por persona. Ruedas para el Mundo comparte el amor de Jesucristo, extendida a través del don de la movilidad, llevando esperanza, gozo y salvación para los niños y adultos con discapacidad en todo el mundo.
