Activist Faith

cbcindex.jpgTunisia, Yemen, Egypt, Libya–revolution is spreading. Many of us want to help, but what can we really do? (Even The Guardian is getting in on the question.)

Yesterday, I wrote about the importance of praying for those in Libya. In addition, however, various groups are starting to provide opportunities to offer practical assistance in some of these nations.

One easy step is to join a petition asking the UN to help in Libya. It doesn’t solve the problem, but it’s one small step that could help. has a few as well here.

And keep watching the news. As needs arise, I’ll do my best to report more specifics on groups that are helping on the front lines.

In the meantime, keep in mind the earthquake victims in New Zealand and help if you can.
