CNN just reported a touching story regarding the aftermath of the Giffords’ shooting. She is being transported by ambulance today, and numerous supporters are lining the streets in support. The images coming through make it look like a parade of sorts.

All I can say is I wish I could be there myself. Her story of survival and her ongoing comeback is astounding, in my beliefs supernatural, and a source of hope to rally around in our era of political bashing. My prayers continue to go out to her as she seeks to overcome the tragedy and return to health.

May we all take a moment to support Giffords through our prayers, our words, and our actions today and in the days ahead.
