New Jersey native John Travolta was raised as a Roman Catholic. However, he found Scientology early on in his career. Before he ever starred in Saturday Night Fever or Grease he was practicing in the church. He was given the book Dianetics and was hooked, he also brought wife Kelly Preston on board.
