Film, theater, and TV actress Gwyneth Paltrow, the daughter of actress Blythe Danner and TV producer Bruce Paltrow, moved to New York with her family when she was 11.

Gwyneth enrolled in an art history program at University of California at Santa Barbara, but dropped out after one year to pursue acting, starting with small film roles. Soon she was landing roles in films like Seven and Emma, and more. For her performance in Shakespeare in Love, she won an Oscar, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild Award.

Gwyneth Paltrow is actively involved in charity work, making substantial contributions to children’s charities and breast cancer research. She is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
