Scarlett Johanssen was born in New York City and began acting during her childhood when her mother took her to auditions. She is best known for her roles in films such as Lost in Translation, The Nanny Diaries, The Avengers, and Hitchcock. She also won the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Play for her 2010 Broadway performance.

In addition to acting, Johanssen also joined forces with Pete Yorn to release an album of duets recorded in 2007 but her musical career never took off. She is very famous for her physical appearance and is the only woman to be chosen twice for the title, “Sexiest Woman Alive” by Esquire magazine in 2006 and 2013. She was married to actor Ryan Reynolds for 2 years but is currently married to journalist Romain Dauriac. They have one daughter together named Rose who was born on September 4th, 2014.
