Patrick Dempsey is known for his love of driving racecars, as well as being a talented actor. Before acting, Dempsey worked as a magician, puppeteer and juggler, but is perhaps most famous for his performance in Can’t Buy Me Love early in his career, and his portrayal of a renowned neurosurgeon in the hit medical drama, Grey’s Anatomy.
Dempsey has portrayed a myriad of roles, including Valentine’s Day, Made of Honor, Sweet Home Alabama, and Transformers: Dark of the Moon, was nominated for an Emmy Award, and has won a Screen Actor Guild Award.
Dempsey resides in Malibu with his wife, Jillian.
