Michael Andrew, American swim prodigy, has become the youngest swimmer in United States history to turn professional with his endorsement deal from P2 Life, a high-performance nutritional supplement manufacturer. By signing with P2 Life, Andrew now becomes ineligible to swim competitively for high school or for an NCAA team. This is perhaps irrelevant, as Andrew is homeschooled through Liberty Online Academy.

Comparisons to Michael Phelps have been all over the Internet, who also followed this path of showing immense talent prior to high school, though it's known that Phelps was already an Olympian before turning professional with Speedo.
