Jew-haters are ungrateful. Gentiles were not a people, but are now God’s people (I Pet 2:10) Since we are Abraham's children by faith, the Jews are our brothers. "Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer:" (I John 3:15) We have the same blood & were every nation was given land that we might seek God (Acts 17:26-27) .

In time past, everyone was together to do a GREAT evil and were scattered.(Gen 11:4-9) In this age, when all nations get together because 1/3 of the earth’s population is destroyed, then shall 3 ½ years of false peace be established until the man says that he is Christ and the children of Israel see that he is a liar. So, let us love our brother (Jews), because without them, Gentiles would have no salvation.

I appreciate the Jews and know that it was God's will for it to happen as it did.

The Jews did kill Jesus. They did not receive him as the Messiah. (John 1:11, Zech 13:6) "Ye also have suffered like things of your OWN countrymen, even as they have of the JEWS: Who both killed the Lord Jesus, & their own prophets" (I Thess 2:14-16) Other nations also have killed him (Heb 6:6). "Boast not against the branches." (Rom. 1:18) "Because of unbelief they were broken off, & thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:" (Rom 11:19-21) God blinded there minds.(Rom 11:25) Jew-haters are ungrateful. Gentiles were not a people, but are now God’s people (I Pet 2:10) Since we are Abraham's children by faith, the Jews are our brothers.
"Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer:" (I John 3:15) We have the same blood & were every nation was given land to seek God (Acts 17:26-27). Be grateful

The ones who put Jesus on the cross began with adam when He sinned, the people of past, present and future put Jesus on the cross. The ones who are sinners and need forgiveness, redemption and salvation put Jesus on the cross. The some Jewish leaders of Jesus' days on earth hand Jesus over to be crucified, the Roman beat him and crucified Him, but Pilate was willing to let Him go, but the Jewish leaders out of envy wanted Jesus dead, and succeeded. I guess it's easier for Jews to say, just blame the Romans, they are Gentile, stupid, ignorant, unspiritual, why have any accountability of killing our own? Yes, the Romans killed Jesus, but repented, after 300 years, Rome converted to Christianity.

Norm_uk, thanks for the insight. Offhand, do you think that the conception out of wedlock might explain acccusations of "Jew Bastard," within the movie "The Passion of The Christ?" (Thanks again for you contribution.)

"To crocop Jews did kill Jesus along with the Romans. Read the Bible. "

That claim comes from the New Testament, which as a Jew, I reject as a work of fiction.

You know, the sad thing about fundamentalist Christians is that they believe, in their faithness, that the life and death of Joshua Ben Joseph, who they call Jesus in English now, was the central event in human history. But it was not. It was the central event in Christian belief history, but that's all. Christian belief history is just part of the huge human struggle to find God in the universe, even though there is no God in the universe. So it would be a wise thing if Christians could understand that Jesus' death was not the central event in human history, just the central event in Christian history. There is a big difference. If only they could understand.

To Ruth Grant and other Jews writing here, I'd like to assure them that most Christians are not anti-Semitic.

In my lifetime (I'm 43) of attending Christian (Baptist) churches (7 congregations) and hearing many different preachers, I cannot remember ANYONE blaming the Jews as a people.

I think it's only logical that since Christ was ministering among the Jews, any objection or opposition to Him would have come from AMONG the Jews and I believe that SOME Jews were involved in the actual deed. But they are NOT RESPONSIBLE for His death.

All the teaching that I've been exposed to places the responsibility for Christ's death on MANKIND because of our sin, not any one race.

Those Jews and Romans who were involved were simply a part of God's pre-ordained plan. So I believe that they don't deserve our condemnation, but in a sense our gratitude. And I'm certain that most Christians would share most of that view and join with today's Jews in condemning anti-Semitism.

A mythological being can't be killed. Jesus Christ is a mythological being. Yeshu ben Pantera was a man, a Jewish healer with amazing powers, and he was killed, stoned to death along with his five disciples by Jewish religious authorities all by themselves, no Romans involved whatsoever. Yeshu was then hung on a tree as per Jewish Law, which Paul refers to in Gal 3:13.

The real story of Jesus is the story of Yeshu ben Pantera and Miriam ben Stada his mother Miriam the hairdresser who adulterous affair with Joseph ben Pantera, a Roman mercenary, produced Yeshu who learned magic arts in Egypt and "led many astray" according to the Talmud where one can find this information so carefully hidden away from Gentile eyes.

Mommy, Did the Jews Kill Jesus?

"Yes Honey, they killed Jesus."

Why? Mommy, Why?

"Because Jesus said things and did things that they didn't like."

But Mommy, why did they have to kill Jesus?

"Because the Jewish leaders were evil legalist who didn't have love in their hearts, they plotted to kill him!"

Mommy, how did the Jews kill Jesus?

"They made up some lies about Jesus and sent him to the Romans so that he might be crucified."

Mommy, did the Romans do what the Jews wanted?

"Yes honey, they crucified Him."

Whether you like it or not - THE JEWS KILLED JESUS.

PS - It was all part of God's perfect plan of redemption.

Crucifixion was a political execution. Jesus was killed because he (or his followers for him) was using the titles of Augustus Caesar, who was a god according to the Roman civic religion. Certain Jews may have egged it on, but the Romans had little reason to entertain the whims of a colonized people. If Jesus was crucified, there were Roman reasons for it.

PS - Mind you, when I say "Christians get all upset when it's pointed out that ..." I'm referring not to Christians as a whole but to a particular set of people who happen to be Christian who do do this. Got it? :-)

"The Jews" killed Jesus in the same sense that "The Christians" killed the Jews during the Holocaust, or during the Crusades, or the Spanish Inquisition, or the eastern European pogroms.

The irony is that Christians get all upset when it's pointed out that Christians over the centuries HAVE performed these abominations, shouting that it's anti-Christian persecution. But when they say the same type of thing about "the Jews," they have the nerve to wonder what they might be complaining about. :-)
