Dear Barney:

This is the regular Baptist Church for you. Some of the first evangelists in the region came from Australia and New Zealand.

You are by no means the first one to make statements like that. Many Christians have told me that 'Oh those are fringe, they would not be approved by Jesus etc.' I am not willing to accept such statements. Let's first hear the Baptist Church disassociate themselves from these fellow brothers-in-Christ and stop funding them. Since that is not happening (the killings have been going on for decades), I refuse to accept your opinion.

I would ignore your comment about Divine Mother Kali.

Regards,

Dhruba.

Mr Arjun, You are mistaken Christianity does not require conversion at any cost. In fact any reading of the Gospel of Christ should lead a person to reject the notion of forced conversion. That forced conversions have taken place and possibly continue to take place is a stain on Christianity. Christians are not free of sin and in fact are called to acknowledge our state of sin.
I grieve that the sins of my fellow Christians are harming Hindus and I beseech you not to judge Christianity by these misguided souls but to approach its message with an open mind as I approach other religions with an open mind. Doing so has only increased my faith in Jesus Christ.

I have, I have also found that his message is not unique, others before after after Christ have preached simillar things. Jesus Christ did not invent love & compassion as many Christians would like us to believe.

mpl,
If you are so concerned about misguided Christians, I would recommend that you should prioritize you efforts on first converting these people to "true christians". These Christians have caused more harm in the world by interfering with native customs and faiths than any amount of Good missionary can compensate form.

Do you know that Belgian Missionaries interference in Rawanda in the Hutu-Tutsi tribal societies have led to civilian wars that have killed more than 800,000 civilians. Now how much of good work by the missionaries do you think can compensate for that..?
If you do not believe me on the causes of Rwandan killings ,then I suggest you can do your own research.

You see your efforts will be better of influencing these misguided Christian (i.e. will have a higher rate of return) missionaries than trying to influence non-christians.
