Do you ever watch those home makeover shows and wish someone could come in and redesign your living space?

Well, Beliefnet is trying out something fun, spiritual (of course), and somewhat similar. In our next installment, world renowned Feng Shui author and teacher Nancy SantoPietro of Brooklyn, NY will explain why kitchens are so important. She will offer advice on how things like the arrangement of counters, placement of the stove, sink and refrigerator affect the food you make, the money you earn, and the happiness shared by family members.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR KITCHEN

Write a paragraph describing your kitchen, and a quick overview of what is happening currently in your life regarding finances. Add your thoughts on how you would like to see that particular room and your financial security to improve. Be brief and specific.

Make a clear, simple rendering of your kitchen floorplan (hand sketched on conventional white paper or computer generated) showing where the largest appliances are, where the clutter is, and how the windows and doors into the space (including closets, hallways, or bathrooms) connect to the kitchen itself.

Note: floor plans do not have to be drawn to architectural scale, but must be legible and clear.

Please give us your name, phone number and location so, if needed we can correspond with you. We will not use any of this information in the article.

Submit all infomation by March 17, 2005

Send the written paragraph and sketch to us by email:
fengshui@beliefnetstaff.com
(with the floor plan scanned and attached as a jpeg)

Or mail your written paragraph and your floor plan sketch to:

Beliefnet - Feng Shui
303 Park Avenue South #1062
NY NY 10010

While not everybody's floor plan can be featured, we will answer as many of your concerns and questions as possible in the article. We look forward to hearing from you!

Happy Feng Shui To You All!
